Fees & financial policy
Clear rules, no surprises: how the money side of a CBC education works.
Current fee schedule
The current term's fee schedule is issued by the school office. Contact administrator@cbcbyo.org or phone +263 292 281005 for the latest figures.
The policy
How fees work
- Payment of school fees
- School fees are payable in full on or before the day term starts. Failure to do so can result in a pupil's exclusion from school until fees are paid.
- Capital development levy
- A compulsory capital development levy is charged to every pupil on first enrolling at the College, in addition to school fees.
- School levies
- The College reserves the right to raise levies such as the General Purpose fee and a School Development Committee levy to maintain and improve facilities. In some subjects a paper levy covers pupils' materials, billed termly.
- Books and stationery
- Pupils purchase their own textbooks and stationery. A list of required textbooks is issued before the start of each year.
- Medical aid
- Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring every pupil is covered by a recognised medical aid scheme.
- Uniforms
- Parents ensure pupils have the correct school and sports uniforms as detailed in the uniform list.
- Withdrawal notice
- A full term's written notice is required, by the first day of term, of intention to withdraw a pupil at the end of that term; otherwise a full term's fees are payable in lieu. If a pupil is withdrawn mid-term, the full term's fees remain payable.
