Welcome to the College
The whole boy: mind, body and spirit
Every boy at CBC studies the University of Cambridge curriculum, plays at least one sport a term, belongs to a house, and learns, through morning prayers, Mass and service, what his strength is for. It is a simple formula. It has worked since 1953.
From Form 1 to Upper Sixth, boys are known by name, stretched in the classroom, tested on the field and expected to act, as the motto says, manfully.

Open Day 2026: bring your son and see for yourself
Grade 6 and 7 boys and their parents are invited to tour the College: the pool, the fields, the classrooms and the boys themselves.
The house system
Four houses, four saints, one school
Every boy joins a house named for a patron saint of these islands of faith: Patricians in green, Georgians in red, Davidians in yellow and Andreans in blue. Houses contest athletics, standards, the Form One Camp and the St Patrick’s Day cross-country, and the rivalry is entirely serious.
